Saahlinda Naay - the Haida Gwaii Museum offers a fascinating look into Haida Gwaii culture from diverse perspectives where Haida knowledge, western science art and politics all blend together in a fluid and constantly changing context. We work collaboratively with communities and organizations to provide an inspiring and holistic learning experience of all things Haida Gwaii.

Our galleries offer a rich range of experiences, including learning about Haida language, art and culture from those who know it best, to enjoying our annual schedule of visual art exhibitions and public programs.
Haida Gwaii is an archipelago loted off the northwest coast of British Columbia. It is known for its remote and ancient rain forests, stunning shoreline, rich and diverse wildlife, and for our Haida culture and heritage.
Batik artist Vernal Bogren Swift has?her work in the collections of the North Dakota Museum of Art, Minnesota, the Smithsonian Amerin Art Museum and The Textile Museum in Washington, DC.
